Founded in 1984 in Edwardsville, IL with one truck, Newman Carriers has since gone on to be named a premier chemical carrier in the Midwest. Joe Newman brings his expertise gathered by over 25 years in the trucking industry to instill a high level of dedication to our customers in all of the Newman Carriers staff.

The company transports a wide variety of products including but not limited to liquid chemicals to manufacturing plants and water treatment facilities, resins to manufacturers, and petroleum products to wholesalers.  Each of the products transported requires specialized trailers and experienced personnel with special skills necessary for safe and efficient handling of these varied bulk materials.

The company provides safe and dependable transportation service to meet customers’ daily requirements through our two terminals located in East St. Louis, IL and Joliet, IL. We also utilize a fleet of over 30 late-model power units and 50 specialized tank trailers to fill customer’s needs.  Newman’s terminals are staffed with experienced terminal managers, trained dispatchers, maintenance personnel and professional drivers and equipped with the latest technology to help expedite service to our customers.  Our business is dependable and safe tank truck carrier transportation, and all of the company’s 40 employees are committed to providing this service on a 24-hour, seven-day a week schedule.
